Alumni Talk - Julia Wohlfahrt
Julia Wohlfahrt gave an insight in her actual professional life. Having graduated in 2017 she now works for the department of urban planning in Graz. On the former production site of the “Brüder Reininghaus” beer and liquor company a new district is developed in the center of Graz. She is working at the intersection between the municipal departments, the developers and the future inhabitants and local artists working on projects concerning the design of (all sorts of) space, developing participatory approaches and fixing bugs. Besides Julia is working on her Social Design Art Project “w/erden” where she transplanted 20 big trees from places where they would have been cut down to recently constructed buildings.
