Research Methods & Presentation Skills

with Anna Vasof

During the course we tried to see a familiar world from a different perspective. We investigated how everyday life could create artistic expressions and how a kitchen and its elements could be an endless source of thoughts, inspiration and artistic experimentation.

During the course we tried to see a familiar world from a different perspective. We investigated how everyday life could create artistic expressions and how a kitchen and its elements could be an endless source of thoughts, inspiration and artistic experimentation.

We discussed:

• the debates on research in the arts;

• the starting phase of a project and how a medium creates meaning;

• how we look at a piece of art;

• the high art of observing everyday life and how mundane things create wonders;

• how limitations trigger new narratives;

• how we could present our works; and

• methods of documentation in the social media era.
